This Where it starts
This year’s theme is Let There Be Light. That’s not just a phrase on a banner. It’s the idea behind everything that happens that week: that you carry something worth bringing into the world, and that this is the week you start to see it.
You’ll spend the week learning from real artists, building real things, and doing it alongside other students who take what they do seriously. By the end of the week you’ll have created something, performed it in front of people, and surprised yourself at least once.
This Where it starts
Blaze Fest is a structured, week-long creative arts experience for students ages 14–18. Participants choose one of five disciplines and spend the week training under experienced artist-mentors in an environment that is intentional, faith-rooted, and focused on the whole person, not just their skill set.
The theme for 2026 is Let There Be Light. It sets the tone for everything, from the art students create to the conversations they have about identity, purpose, and what they were made for.
Blaze Fest is built on more than twenty years of youth development experience. Students leave with a portfolio of creative work, meaningful relationships, and a clearer sense of who they are and what they’re capable of.

Track
Five creative disciplines, one shared week of practice, mentorship, challenge, and performance.

Learn to mix, scratch, and perform. Read a room. Move it.

Build original music from scratch. Production, arrangement, rhythm, and the discipline of finishing something you’re proud of.

Find your voice. Write from your life. Say something worth hearing.

Lettering, murals, visual storytelling. Work with artists who’ve made their mark on real walls in this city.

Movement, rhythm, footwork, and the courage it takes to step into the cipher.
A day at
blaze fest
Build original music from scratch. Production, arrangement, rhythm, and the discipline of finishing something you’re proud of.
The day opens as a community before students move into their tracks. Expect energy, intention, and a room that feels different from school.
Deep work in your chosen discipline. Your instructor knows their craft and knows how to teach it. This is where most of the growth happens.
Lunch together. This is not a break from the experience. It’s part of it. Some of the best conversations of the week happen over food.
Collaborative workshops, mentorship sessions, team challenges, and creative work that crosses tracks. Students start to see how their art connects to everyone else’s.
Reflection time. The kind that goes somewhere real. Students process what they’re learning about their craft, about themselves, and about what they’re made for.

The Final night belongs
to the
students
This is your moment. Everything you worked on during the week comes together in front of real people who showed up for you.
It’s not a recital. Its a moment.
The kind you remember.
This is
just the beginning
The pathway is being built as a multi-year journey. Students who complete the foundational level can return in future years to go deeper, earn recognition for their growth, and work toward mastery in their discipline.
Every journey starts with a first step. This is where curiosity meets commitment and the door opens to possibility.
Come back. Go deeper. Each level builds on the last and recognizes the work you’ve put in.
Mastery is earned through discipline, time and impact. I shows up in your work and in who you become.

Blaze Fest is a structured, intentional experience with experienced leadership and a genuine commitment to every student in the room. Your student will be known by name, coached closely, and challenged in ways that are good for them.
Blaze Fest is rooted in Christian faith and open to students from every background. Faith isn’t a footnote here. It’s the reason we believe every young person carries something worth developing.
What we ask of every student is simple: show up willing to learn, work hard, and participate fully. The rest we’ll handle.
That covers the full week of instruction, mentorship, materials, daily lunch, and Showcase Night.
